04 / A CLIENT’S STORY
“When my health fights against me, I am more capable of fighting back.”
Alecia Client, Colin’s wife, executive & mother of two
I can do yoga again. I can carry my new puppies when I need to. I’m waking up at 5:30 without hating it and getting more done every day.
Colin asks questions, listens, and adapts the training to where I am that day. He still pushes me—and I’ve surprised myself with what I can accomplish.
Yes, I’m his wife. I’m also his client. And I’m proud of what we’re building.
I’m an executive who travels a lot, and a mother of two strong boys who have trained with their dad for years. After my oldest graduated high school and I entered my mid-40s, I finally made myself a priority. I lost more than 100 pounds before I started training. My confidence was growing, but after getting sick, I realized how weak I felt.
I had watched Colin work with male and female clients and seen their progress. Training was also a chance to spend time together as his schedule got busier. I committed to two sessions a week plus a third combined session. Having a schedule and a cost gave me the motivation to follow through.
Stretching has become one of my favorite parts, especially when I’m stiff. He doesn’t just tell me to go stretch. We try things, see what works, and incorporate them. He pays attention to how I move and what I feel.
Yes, I’m his wife. My sessions with him have been at a public facility, where we treat that time as trainer and client. He’s proud of me as his client, and I’m proud of the results my trainer has helped me achieve. I can’t wait to see where I go from here.
Alecia is Colin’s wife and a paying training client. This is her personal experience; individual results vary.
